Event overview
About the Event
In 'Fleet Shifts: Preparing for the future' Jean-Baptiste Rougeot, Spinergie, and Rene Nijhuis, Roll Group, will discuss the evolution of the global heavy lift and multipurpose fleet as traditional operators invest in increasingly specialised tonnage. They'll cover several topics from forward-bridge designs and vessels tailored to specific operating environments to expanded deck carrier capabilities, and how fleet strategies are adapting to changing market demands. During the session, they will explore the drivers behind these design decisions, the sectors these vessels will serve, and how operators are investing in new assets and technologies to meet tomorrow's challenges. The following Q&A session: 'The next generation of heavy lift and multipurpose vessels,' will provide further exploration of how the fleet is evolving to meet changing project cargo demand. The interactive session will invite audience feedback with the possibility for the audience to ask questions of their own.
